Wow is all I can say about this book, Mia Michele really has me stumped. I have no idea what I want to happen in the series after this novel.
Sebastian Throne first meets Skylar Rose when we crashes into her and her family while intoxicated, killing both Skylar’s mother and father. When Sebastian went to check on the passengers, he laid his eyes on the most beautiful girl. Instead of doing the right thing, Sebastian fleas the scene and turns to his father to help clean everything up, by doing this he makes a deal with the devil.
Seven years later Sebastian sees Skyler at her parent’s grave site, and now is consumed with knowing everything about her. Little did he know he would fall for her even more after getting know her.
While reading Sebastian was a real jerk to Skylar whenever he pushed her away and all she wanted to do was be with the man she loved. Sebastian finally allowed her to love him and to love her, but will not tell her the truth of what happened that night 7 years ago, knowing that she would not stay with him. Maybe that’s why I couldn’t root for their relationship, instead I rooted for Lucas and was heartbroken when he stooped appearing in the book, he gave up on Skylar and the way he felt.
I cannot wait to read Book Two and I hope to hear about Lucas and hear why he gave up the way he did.
