Caterine finds herself falling in love with Remi, but old embedded pain leaves her afraid to open her heart.

BOOK REVIEW:
Caterine and Remi met like they were in as though they were in a fairy tale. They originally met on the street when Caterine was fighting with her boyfriend. Their second meeting however their second meeting reminded me of a more scandalous version of Cinderella involving a pirate and not a prince (and I am not complaining). At the ball they danced, had sex in arbor, and she left a hair clip while running away. The only difference was this pirate knew exactly who his princess was. Who would not want a night like that, I think most girls have a fantasy like that, even if they don’t admit it. I was rooting for these two to be together and not let the fact that they were from different economy classes get in the way.
Rue Toulouse was filled with so much mystery; I kept trying to figure out who was trying to kill Caterine. Each time the charterers suspected another character I completely agreed and saw how they could have been after Caterine. Once I found out who it was I was shocked, but all ythe little pieces fell together and I saw how they could be the ones after her.
I loved that this book kept me on my toes and kept me guessing. The time passed so quickly and I was finished reading after a short period of time.
