It was supposed to be easy money.
It was supposed to be routine.
It was supposed to be safe.
Ashe Dillinger’s life is about as normal as it gets. One could even call it boring. A broke college student living off Ramen noodles and cheap liquor, she jumps at the chance to take part in a sleep study which will pay her more than she makes in a week.
Ashe wakes up from the study in a room with four other test subjects including handsome US Army veteran, Ryder Maddox. Outside the room, the world is burning. All signs of human life are seemingly gone. They are completely alone except an evil that lurks beyond the fire and brimstone.
Will Ashe find the strength to survive in this post apocalyptic world?
Can she trust those around her and find the answers she seeks before it’s too late?
Will her feelings for Ryder get in the way?
