BOOK SUMMERY:

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

MY THOUGHTS:

Everything, Everything is such an amazing story!!

I haven’t read a story like this one yet. Maddy has a rare disease and that keeps her from entering the outside world. She is stuck in her bubble and the only people she is allow to be around are her mother and nurse. That is until her new neighbors arrive, this is where her life changes. Maddy is immediately drawn to Ollie.

There were many things about this book that I thought were adorable. I loved the emails back and forth between Maddy and Ollie, I also love how Ollie first communicated with her. For the situation that Maddy is I think she has an interesting out look on life. I also thought Ollie was quite interesting and there was a lot to his story.

This story was also about family. Ollie’s family was picture perfect and they had plenty of issues. Then there’s Maddy’s mom who is quite over protective and has her own issues.

I think this is a great read for young readers, it was a nice and easy read with a couple of illustrations by Maddy that readers will enjoy!
